goodsと同じ意味ですが複数名詞ではありません。単純不可算名詞です。stolen goods（盗品＝盗まれた品物、商品を含む）はstolen merchandise（盗品＝盗まれた商品）を含みます。
goodsは必ずしも商品とは限りません。（しかし、commercial goodsとすると、merchandiseと同じ意味です。）盗まれたものでしたら人がそれまで使っていた用品などなども含まれます。乗り物は普通のconsumer goods（消費財）には含まれません。個別にa stolen carと言います。
