Ultrahigh-sensitive fluorescent dosimeters that use turn-on mode fluorescent diarylethenes

　Turn-on mode fluorescent diarylethenes such as 1,2-bis(2-alkyl-1-benzothiopehene-1,1- dioxide-3-yl)perfluorocyclopentenes were applied to ultrahigh-sensitive fluorescent dosimeters. The dosimeters can detect absorbed dose as low as 50 mGy. The sensitivity is 10² - 10³ times higher that that of convsntional colour dosimeters.
