RESEARCH

Research Details

Chromosome replication is a fundamental process for cells to duplicate. This laboratory is directed towards understanding how the chromosome replication process proceeds during cell cycle progression. To address this question, we use bacteria cells, Escherichia coli and Bacillus subtilis, as simple and well-characterized model organisms. Our approach includes gmicroscopic analysis of dynamic behavior of molecules in living cellsh and gin vitro reconstitution of higher order process using purified cellular components.h
