■Kobe CBK Drama Workshop 2019

We held a theater workshop for children and students who have roots in Brazil. They were participants in study classes that were held on Saturdays. In the first half of the workshop, we did activities centered on the physical expression of phrases such as: "clap your hands in rhythm", "what are you doing?" and "I am a tree". In the second half, under the theme of "memories of this summer", they drew pictures of one of their most vivid memories and shared the event with the group. It was impressive to see how each person enthusiastically expressed his or her memories using pictures and the Japanese language, and to note how seriously everyone listened to accounts from the lives of their classmates, which ordinarily they rarely heard.
