WWS is a workshop to learn about workshops itself. WWS is held to know the philosophy of conducting diverse workshops. The participants can learn practical ideas and know-hows from artists engaged in various art activities through lectures and discussions. During the 2021, 4 time WWS were held.

【WWS#1】Online study group
We invited Mr. Haneji, chief of Playback Theatre Lab, and several affiliated artists to hold an online study group for learning about facilitator’s role in Playback Theatre. All participants experienced the content of this workshop first, and then asked Mr. Haneji what he thought was important as a facilitator and some key points in the practices. After this session, the participants exchanged their opinions about the characteristics of art-mediated workshops and the role of facilitators in these practices.


【WWS#2】Facilitator training workshop
Ms. Shimizu and Ms. Torikawa held a facilitator training workshop. The undergraduate students aspiring to be childcare worker as well as researchers participated in the activities.




【WWS#3】Online study group
Ms. Shimizu lectured us some important points facilitators should keep in mind and spoke on the potential of holding art-mediated workshops. Then, we exchanged the opinion about these topics.


【WWS#4】Facilitator training workshop
Ms. Shimizu and Ms. Torikawa held a facilitator training workshop. The event was attended by researchers as well as undergraduates aspiring to be childcare workers.
