■Museum Workshop
 “Let's make a museum”

●Let’s create a Toronto Youth Museum!

Date and time of the event: September 6, 2014 9:00-12:00
Place: Toronto Japanese Language Study, Advanced Class
(http://www.torontokokugokyoshitsu.com/)

On the day of the event, we will produce exhibits to be displayed at the "Toronto Youth Museum". Think about what you want to display. It doesn't matter how it is made or what material it is made from. Of course, you can make an object, draw a picture or write a chapter in Japanese. Let's all design unique exhibitions and create a "Youth Museum" together.

When the production is finished, all the works will be displayed in the designated room. What kind of museum can we create? After the items are on display, ask each creator to explain his/her creation. We will record these presentations as a video so that we can show them later in a virtual museum on the web. Works created by the "Amherst Japanese Language School" in Massachusetts USA and from Isesaki City in Gunma Prefecture Japan will be shown along with these from Toronto, constituting a virtual museum on the web representing the three countries.
