RiCoLaS students were in charge of the Japanese translation of some of the displays for the Heritage and Future of Rikkyo special exhibition. We started by studying the background history and delivered the translation successfully. Interpreting of Lectures and Field Trips for Short-Term International Students

July 2018
Location: Ikebukuro Campus, Mukojima etc.

We organized an interpreting project for short-term international students.
First, consecutive interpreting was provided for lectures delivered on campus about society and culture, followed by liaison interpreting during field trips for the students to see what they had learned about in the lecture.
The topic was Japanese literature and included challenging content such as Japanese poetry, both waka and haiku, and although the students were beginners in Japanese, they enjoyed the program.
