This book concludes a four-year collaboration between the Municipality of Södertälje, the Unit for Self-Sufficiency and the Reading Promotion Institute for refugees. Two days a week for a semester, seven groups have participated in a unique activity where important voices that are rarely heard, are raised and given a place in the public space.　Many of the participants have experienced war, they have fled and they live in the limbo between here and there that arises when you are not used in any real work for a long time. Over the years, they have been shuffled around in different courses, projects and initiatives until they have become too old - not to work - but for the labor market. And without work, it's easy to feel left out, to be of no use, not to be part of society. But so they have walked through the door at LFI and taken off their shoes and signed in the ring on the yellow chairs. Unsure at first, it takes time. Slowly the stories unfold. Fragile as ferry wings, equally strong and always their own. Using the language of art, they have shown that their lives are not defined by external circumstances, but by their ability to create meaning by sharing their stories. The works in this book show what is possible when we give each other space to tell. And when we listen, not only does our understanding grow, but it also becomes clear that we are all related.

The first forty-five pages of the book present the works of those who participated in the fall of 2024. Each has a spread to tell the story with images and words. The common starting point has been Stig Dagerman's poem The Flight Chose Us from 1953. The following pages are a review of the six previous projects: Hayati Aluani - My Life My Colors, a performance and installation. My Story, a pictorial narrative through Kamishibai, Light in Darkness, a theatrical performance, The Soul Has No Clock, a film, See Who I Am, an art exhibition, The Road to Life, a theater performance.
In the last part of the book there are three texts about language and interpreting spirit-meaning and life, about Dynamic Pedagogy, which is the redemptive method we have used, and a text about how feeling connects the body and soul and how art and creativity are necessary for a meaningful life.

　この本は、セーデルテリエ市の難民などのための自立支援ユニットであるリテラシー促進施設の4年間にわたる共同作業の集大成です。1学期間、週2日、7つのグループが、めったに耳にすることのない重要な声を上げ、公共の場にその声を届けるというユニークな活動に参加しました。参加者の多くは戦争を経験しており、国外に逃れ、長い間実質的な労働に従事していないことで生じる、あちらとこちらの中間のような宙ぶらりんの状態に置かれています。長年にわたり、彼女ら彼らはさまざまなコースやプロジェクト、イニシアティブに振り分けられてきましたが、労働市場では高齢すぎるという理由で、働くことができない状態でした。仕事がないと、社会から取り残され、役立たずで、社会の一員ではないと感じてしまいがちです。しかし、彼女ら彼らはリテラシー促進施設のドアをくぐり、靴を脱ぎ、黄色の椅子に座ってサインしたのです。最初は不確かで、時間がかかりました。徐々に物語が展開していきます。羽のようにか弱く、しかし、強く、常に自分らしく。彼女ら彼らは芸術の言語を用いて、自分たちの人生は外的環境によってではなく、自分たちの物語を共有することで意味を生み出す能力によって定義されることを示しました。この本に収められた作品は、お互いが語り合うための空間を与えることで何が実現可能かを示しています。そして、耳を傾けることで、理解が深まるだけでなく、私たちは皆つながっていることが明らかになります。
　本書の最初の45ページには、2024年秋に参加した人たちの作品が紹介されています。各参加者は、イメージと言葉で物語を伝える場を持っています。共通の出発点は、1953年に発表されたスティグ・ダゲルマンの詩『The Flight Chose Us』です。続くページでは、過去の6つのプロジェクトのレビューが掲載されています：ハヤティ・アルーアニ『My Life My Colors』（パフォーマンスとインスタレーション）。『My Story』は紙芝居による絵語り、『Light in Darkness』は芝居、『The Soul Has No Clock』は映画、『See Who I Am』は美術展、『The Road to Life』は演劇です。
本書の最終部には、三つのテクストが置かれています。それらは言語と精神の意味と生命の解釈についてのテクスト、私たちが用いている救済的な方法であるダイナミック・ペダゴジーに関するテクスト、そして感情が身体と魂に結びつき、芸術と創造性が有意義な人生に不可欠であることを示す内容のテクストです。
